Is
this a jeepney?
Umm. . .for
the purist. . . Not. It's a departure from the seating style
of the passengers seats facing each other, and in crowded quarters,
the knees touching, and some say, the origin of the word ":jeepney"
— jeep-knee.

This has
more of a mini-bus front-facing seating arrangement. But other
than that it's all jeepney innards and shell. Mud guards, roof
style, borloloys. The front view is unmistakably 'jeepney: center-grille,
panel board, fender, accessories and all.
